Nearly 500 views so far, frontpaged, and only one other comment? Man, NewGrounds is not the place it once was ...

I loved the track, excellent work! It's experimental in a great way, all of the filtered sounds behind the drums are dreamlike and otherworldly. Getting a bit more intense towards the end was a good breakup of the progression. I am sure your album will be successful!

How do you casually make this as a lil ditty? Lead guitar and all ... puts me to shame. You know I fucking love this. Love the overlapping "crush" vocals too! Ending with the clean dreamy sounds going back into that deep deep butthole ripping riffage is what I'm here for.

Make a new album my man, this is what metal is missing.

Ah, you run circles around me, my brother. I use the "ola" riff challenges for riff farming - so its a bunch of those ideas. It really helps when I'm strapped for creativity!

I got a new 7 string since this, cause it was soooooooooo frustrating on my jackson. I paid $250 for it, new - so really cheap. So I bought a good one cause I wanna make more.

Anyways, you're ridiculous and awesome. <3

I'm so upset, I followed you but didn't get notified of this wonderful upload >:(

You have the pipes of Sarah Mclaughlin and Cookie Monster. The chorus blew me away when it kicked in, that ambient reverb/delay works so fucking well!

Instrumental is solid as always man. I loved the way the bass stuck out in the breakdown around 2:39 and on. Reminded me of MudVayne a lil' bit. That last gutteral you unleash to end it is absolutely crushing too, love it! You can rest assured I will be coming back to this one repeatedly.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Well, holy shit. I didn't realize this got the FP. And Also - sorry for the late reply. Dealing with some real life fiascos...so humble apologies there.

Thank you, for the super kind words, as always. You're an amazing musician, to me, someone I looked up to, very much - so it's really awesome to hear that!!
Thanks brotha!! \m/

I can't believe how good you are at writing, composing, and recording. Seriously, inspirational. Your band is fucking lucky to be associated with you. If I ever manage to cross the border into Canada, I'd totally join your band just to play cowbell.

Jesus Fucking Christ, you say this is for when you're "too heavy"!? This is metal as fuck and channeling some mid-2000's vibes for me. That heavy pre-chorus reminds me a lot of early Trivium, and the chorus is a very catchy ballad that makes me feel like I could do some straight up X-Games type of snowboarding.

I don't know how to offer constructive criticism, so I will just say I loved this and look forward to hearing more of your work! Great job with this, I zoned out pretty good while listening :)

thank you man, i really appreciate it!

It should be mandatory that I am notified via Pidgeon w/ note attached or something every time you upload >:( This is too damn cool! I love your voice in that chorus, and I especially dig the lead guitar over the rhythm cords it works really well! Your tags are appropriate.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

oh man i miss u

Ghaaad daayuum. Why doesn't something alert me when you post stuff? This is excellent! Love that reverb around a minute in. The double bass and machine-gun guitar rhythm is reminiscent of Metallica's "One". If only I had discovered this bad boy on a Tuesday ...

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Miss ur face! although, I never saw it...but you know!

Nice! The guitar at ~3:32 is cool, reminds me of early Sonic the Hedgehog for some reason. Some of the guitar in this reminds me of FL Studio's "Slayer". Keep up the good work >:I

I dig the mouse-click samples in the beginning, I've never heard that used in a song before. I think you should try incorporating it more somehow, really mess with it. For a reference (if you're curious) check out "The Bomb" by Neuroticfish. It starts with an old dial-up sound that gets integrated into the intro real creatively.
As for the rest, this is excellent. I'm a bit old (30) but half of my life ago I started with FL Studio and this really reminded me of those weird late night or early morning sessions in which I would make things very similar to this. My early FL Studio work isn't on NewGrounds, but you've definitely got a better first full-length song. I don't have much constructive criticism, it was just nice to hear your work, great job!
