This is fucking awesome! The drum sound and guitar tone! Sounds like you got a bit technical with the lead guitar too! I'm just surprised you made such a full and bad ass instrumental without throwing vocals onto it. But, even so, it still came out great! Thanks man, was blocked pretty hard lately. I think I boiled it down to drums. I was using preset patterns, with EZDrummer, which are great....and fast...but no heart there. I think. So I made this from scratch. And then the riffs (which were SUPER simple) just flowed out. It wasn't meant to be complex...just to see if I was still blocked. I quite like how this is looking, although, my leads are still a bit confuffled in the mix. Trying to get them to stand out in the center of the mix...but...when they are layered they clip...so I change tones, frequencies, placement in the mix...I'll find a setting that I really like..and keep updating when I have the time...

But anyway, this is some of your best work to date in my opinion. You've improved in your sound, composition, and even sounds like you've improved in your playing itself. There's nothing very bad I can say about this ... maybe it should have been longer?

Seems like I have to take this compliments serious. I do say that I'm pleased with the current soundquality. I guess it's all fine tuning now for certain things. The base is there now. I don't think I improved on my playing skills because I don't practice that much. :/

Pretty sick stuff, man! I liked the vocals too! I agree with BadMan about the medium growl, but it shouldn't take too much work to improve on it. Everything else is metal as hell, and I really like the sound quality!

Wow, the clean and distorted lead goes very well together! Awesome mellow song, man, you're really damn good at these! This would probably be really fun to jam out to with acoustics (although you wouldn't be able to reach such high notes in the lead). Anyway, awesome work, it has looped three times and I hadn't noticed.

Thanks a lot man. I'd like to clean this up a bit more, but I'm kinda sick of playing it..haha. Its a pretty simple song, (in theory of lullaby's) but I'm sure I could find different leads on acoustic to well with this. My main focus was trying to find a sweet melody on the leads...that flowed more than not. While practicing, it put my dad to sleep..who was visiting to play with his grandkids. haha. So I think I achieved the feel I wanted. Thanks for the review and support, homie!\m/
